With a career spanning 20 years in the Mortgage Finance Industry, Michael's journey began with a strong foundation in banking, having served as an assistant manager in the retail banking sector across the country. For the past 12 years, he has successfully owned and operated his own mortgage broking businesses, where he has written and settled over $350 million in residential and investment loans. As an independent broker, growth for Michael had been substantial but as his portfolios grew, so did opportunities and when Profectus Lending became more than a possibility, Michael was instantly on board to create a legacy.
Michael’s confidence in his business practices, in his brokers and his business partners, is unshakable. He leads and mentors his team of Profectus Lending brokers to an exceptionally high standard of professionalism, trust, credibility and honesty. Profectus Lending is where his clients find security, opportunity and joy in seeing their dreams realised. Michael has no plans for that to change no matter the market conditions.
Like many of his clients, Michael is family-focused and like a Queensland family man, he loves his sports. Michael follows football, cricket, rugby league and rugby union but above all sports but he is particularly passionate about golf. He also has a love for Australia and doesn't skip a chance to experience other cultures and other countries. With family in the UK to catch up with (and sports to follow) and a wedding in Dubai calling him to return there for another visit, he's also explored Italy, France, and Switzerland. Travel has brought Michael closer to understanding of different values and deep history other cultures hold - however, home is where the heart is, and the heart is here in Brisbane, Queensland.
